In response to her tragic death, calls for change became the inspiration for BaptistCare HopeStreet’s first ever Halo Ball. On the five year anniversary of Tara’s murder, we remember Tara with our fifth annual Halo Ball. Our 2020 Halo Ball will raise vital funds to support BaptistCare HopeStreet’s essential support services for women and children, as we seek to end the cycle of abuse and build safer families.

    Born in 1954 in Brisbane to Chinese immigrants, Lindy Lee has explored ideas around history, portraiture, cultural authenticity and personal identity through her art since the early 1980s.
